What Is Title 24 and why is it important for projects in California

Get Title 24 is a trusted provider of Title 24 energy compliance reports in

California. Since 2015, we’ve worked with builders, architects, and homeowners to ensure their residential and commercial projects meet the California Title 24 Building Energy Efficiency Standards (Part 6).

A Title 24 report is required for most construction projects in California. It verifies that the building meets energy efficiency standards set by the state. These rules cover HVAC, insulation, lighting, windows, and water heating. Projects that don’t meet the code cannot get building permits.

There are two types of reports:

CF1R for residential buildings

NRCC for commercial buildings

Our team of Certified Energy Analysts (CEA) use approved energy modeling tools to calculate compliance with the Title 24 code. We provide quick turnaround, HERS-registered documentation, and PDFs ready for submission to the city.

We also help you stay updated on the latest Title 24 requirements and code changes like:

Heat pump water heater requirements

Solar Power Requirements

Whole-house fan requirements

If you're planning new construction or an addition in California, getting a Title 24 compliance report is a key step.
